Lockdown Radio UK is an innovative radio station that combines music, interviews and discussions on issues which affect our communities. Our core aim is to provide a global platform to broadcast Music of Black Origin from the UK whilst showcasing music from the rest of the world through our website and mobile phone apps.
Lockdown Radio UK was founded by Angela Nairne and Culture Bell. This idea was driven by the duo’s passion for music and the lack of air play by mainstream stations in the UK of Music of Black Origin where we have so many talented artists/musicians past and present; who have and who are creating excellent music across all genres.
